View golf courses in Hertfordshire
You cannot travel far in Hertfordshire without seeing signposts to golf clubs.
There are over 50 clubs in the county.
These include some beautiful courses such as those found at
Hanbury Manor and
Brocket Hall, as well as some good public courses such as those in
Welwyn Garden City and
Stevenage.
St Albans plays a part in golf history as it was St Albans
resident Sam Ryder who gave his name to the Ryder cup.
Nick Faldo learnt the game around the courses in Welwyn Garden City,
where he spent his childhood days.
