The museum is situated in a 17th century town house complemented by a reconstructed Jacobean garden. The collections, begun in the 1890s, include local, social, military and natural history, geology, archaeology and fine art. Also interesting temporary exhibitions and events for all ages.
Hertford Museum also has a free Broadband Internet Service for visitors.
