~NEW AFRICAN ADVENTURE~
Be captivated by the beauty and magnificence of the fastest land animal on earth when you visit our brand new experience, Cheetah Rock.
This fantastic exhibit conjures up images of faraway places with a landscaped rock lookout and watering holes for the cheetahs. View our Zoo ‘athletes’ from an African style hut, where floor to ceiling glass will be the only thing separating you from the animals.
Whilst enjoying the cheetahs, you can also fast track your own knowledge of a cheetah by testing your acceleration speed on athe Cheetah Sprint running strip. Cheetah Rock also includes a display safari Land Rover, depicting real life cheetah conservation activities in the African savannah.
The exhibit has strong links with the ZSL conservation project in Tanzania to research and better understand cheetahs to help ensure their survival.
