"As You Like It" is a popular Peking restaurant in Codicote.
The building itself appears on the village sign and is famous for being the oldest documented licensed premises in Hertfordshire, with records showing it as a licensed inn since 1279.
The building is half-timbered and was rebuilt in 1550 when it was known as "The Greyhound". It was also named "The George and Dragon" before opening as a Peking restaurant under the name "As You Like It".
