Saffron Walden Museum first opened in 1835 and has the ruins of Walden's 12th century castle in its grounds.
The museum includes exhibits on local history, archaeology and local nature.
OPENING TIMES:
- March to October: Monday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm. Sundays & Bank Holidays 2 pm - 5 pm.
- November to February: Monday - Saturday 10 am - 4.30 pm. Sundays & Bank Holidays 2 pm - 4.30 pm.
- Closed 24th and 25th December
ADMISSION FEES:
- Adults: £1.00 (discounts 50p)
- Children (18 and under): FREE
