2004 BAA Stansted Hertfordshire Youth Games

Trials and coaching sessions are underway for the 2004 BAA Stansted Hertfordshire Youth Games. The Borough of Broxbourne team is looking for a team manager for under 14.

Broxbourne also requires young people to compete in:

• under 13 girls basketball

• under 13 badminton

• under 14 table tennis

• under 15 squash

• under 15 girls hockey

• under 13 boys hockey

The games will take place on Sunday 9th May 2004. Teams from the Borough of Broxbourne will compete against other teams from districts within Hertfordshire at Gosling Sports Park, Herts Sports Village, Hatfield. The Games are an Olympic-style youth competition, which gives young people the opportunity to get involved in sport as well as participate in a nationally recognised event.

The two criteria for participants are that they must either live or go to school in the Borough of Broxbourne and they must not have represented the county during the current or preceding season in the sport they wish to participate in. There are no essential criteria for managers, although experience is appreciated. Background checks will be carried out.
