£200,000 Investment at The John Warner Sports Centre

The fitness centre at John Warner Sports Centre, Stanstead Road, Hoddesdon has invested £200,000 in new state of the art training equipment and improvements to an expanded fitness area bringing major benefits to customers.

The gym extension opens on 21st January and features the latest in sports equipment and machinery. There are now 90 work stations comprising cross trainers, treadmills and exercise bikes. The number of free weights has also doubled as has the fitness work-out area in line with the demand for the gym’s services. Users can now also benefit from a fully air-conditioned exercise studio.

The John Warner Sports Centre is a £7million project jointly funded by Sport England, The John Warner School, and the Borough of Broxbourne and features a range of state of the art facilities. These include:

25 metre swimming pool

Separate learner pool

Fit & Well Gym & Exercise studio

Multi purpose sports hall

Outdoor Astroturf facilities

Cricket Nets

Squash Court

Bar & Café (Available for hire)
