Bushey is a residential town situated on the edge of Watford and about 2 miles from Watford town centre. Other towns near to Bushey include Stanmore (3 miles south), Radlett (4 miles north) and Borehamwood (4 miles east). The M1 runs to the north of Bushey giving residents quick access south into London or north into Hertfordshire.
Watford provides excellent shopping facilities and its close proximity means that Bushey's shops are largely local shops, stores and estate agents.
Bushey has a good selection of restaurants and pubs, though for entertainment such as nightclubs and cinemas you will have to travel the few miles into Watford.
The history of Bushey is told at Bushey Museum, in Rudolph Road just off the High Street.
The church of St James and the buildings surrounding the church will remind you of how Bushey must have felt when it was once a village. Just up from the church is the clubhouse of Bushey Golf and Country Club with its fairways providing attractive views from the High Street.
Aldenham Country Park is situated about 2 miles east of Bushey and here you can enjoy walks and water sports.
