Croxley Green is a residential town with about 11,000 residents, situated directly between Rickmansworth (1 mile west) and Watford (3 miles north east).
The town has a large attractive common that provides the feeling of a village. There are some popular pubs on the edge of the common, along with All Saints Church. Cassiobury Park offers recreation and is situated on the eastern edge of Croxley Green.
Croxley Green has a number of local shops, estate agents and other amenities. You need to travel to Watford for a larger selection of shops and department stores.
Nearby Watford and Rickmansworth provide a full range of entertainment for residents, including restaurants, cinemas, theatres, nightclubs and bowling.
Croxley Green has open countryside to its north and this provides good walking, cycling and horse riding. There are also walks and cycle paths along the rivers to the east, south and west of the town. Those who play golf will enjoy the large choice of courses around the town.
Croxley Tube Station is on the Metropolitan underground line and a journey in to Baker Street in London will take about 40 minutes. The town is popular with those who commute into London.
