The small but attractive village of Frithsden is set in beautiful countryside, about 2 miles north of Berkhamsted. It is a popular halt for walkers and cyclists who visit the excellent pub in the village, the Alford Arms. The village itself is made up of a number of attractive and interesting cottages.
Frithsden is home to one of Hertfordshire's wine producers, Frithsden Vineyards. You can join a tour around the vineyards as well as sample and purchase the wine.
