Ayot Green is a small, attractive village situated a few hundred yards from the A1(M) motorway, about 1 mile west of Welwyn Garden City.
The houses in the village are much sought-after and are clustered around the village green. The village holds a number of events on the green during the year.
The village pub - The Waggonners - is situated on the edge of the village, down the lane by the motorway.
Ayot Green is one of three "Ayots" in the area - see also Ayot St Lawrence and Ayot St Peter.
