Located in the south-west corner of Hertfordshire, Rickmansworth lies just off the M25. The River Chess runs to the east of the town and meets the River Colne and the Grand Union canal.
Rickmansworth is a small, charming town that plays host to the local district council, Three Rivers District Council. The town has a popular theatre, Watersmeet. The famous golf Moor Park golf course includes a spectacular mansion that has been preserved as the club house. This is open to the public.
Nearby Watford provides excellent shopping.
