Broxbourne is situated just south of Hoddesdon and the two towns have now almost joined as one.
The main features of Broxbourne are the Monson Almshouses built of red brick in 1728. They are situated at 97-99 High Road, part of which dates from the 16th century and the Priest's House which is a 17th century two storey dwelling.
Broxbourne is situated between the A10 road and the River Lee & Lee Navigation canal. You can hire a barge at Broxbourne to cruise along the Lee Navigation.
